Product Introduction: The PTFE-lined static mixer is a self‑driven, highly efficient mixing device. Its core consists of a carbon steel or 304/316 stainless steel housing combined with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) liner, offering the high strength and pressure resistance of a metal shell along with PTFE’s outstanding corrosion‑resistant properties. Designed specifically for fluid mixing under highly corrosive and ultra‑clean conditions, it requires no external power source and achieves efficient mixing solely through the kinetic energy of the flowing fluid.
• Material: The inner lining is made of industrial‑grade/food‑grade PTFE, often referred to as the “king of plastics.” It exhibits exceptional resistance to nearly all strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents, and organic solvents, with a temperature range of –196°C to 260°C. Its smooth inner surface prevents scale buildup and leaching, effectively ensuring product purity. Standard liner thickness is 3 mm, with custom options available upon request. The outer shell is constructed from carbon steel or stainless steel, enhancing the equipment’s pressure resistance and impact durability, with a pressure rating of 0.6 to 1.6 MPa, suitable for a variety of operating conditions.
• Structure: The unit is internally equipped with various types of mixing elements, including SK, SX, and SL configurations. Special structural features such as fixed helical vanes and cross‑barriers continuously divert, recombine, and induce rotational motion in the fluid flow, ensuring uniform mixing with high dispersion and excellent blending accuracy. It requires no maintenance and offers low operating costs. Flanged connections are supported, with nominal sizes ranging from DN25 to DN600; the number, dimensions, and length of the mixing elements can be custom‑designed to meet specific process requirements.
• Application Areas: Widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection, lithium‑battery, and paper‑making industries, this equipment is suitable for applications such as neutralization of strong acids and bases, blending of organic solvents, formulation of pharmaceutical intermediates, and mixing of wastewater‑treatment chemicals. It effectively addresses common challenges associated with conventional mixing equipment—corrosion, material contamination, and uneven mixing—making it a core solution for achieving efficient, clean mixing under highly corrosive conditions. Additionally, it can accommodate the mixing of high‑viscosity fluids containing small amounts of solid particles.
