The steel‑lined PTFE storage tank is a composite storage vessel specifically designed for highly corrosive service conditions. It features a Q235B/Q345R carbon steel shell with an inner lining of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as “the king of plastics.” This design combines the high strength and excellent pressure‑bearing capabilities of steel with the exceptional corrosion resistance of PTFE, making it widely suitable for storing a variety of highly corrosive media.
• Material: The outer shell is made of high‑quality carbon steel, ensuring the vessel’s pressure‑bearing capacity (0.1–0.6 MPa) and making it suitable for atmospheric to low‑pressure operating conditions. The inner lining is made of high‑purity PTFE, which exhibits exceptional chemical inertness, resisting aqua regia, concentrated nitric acid, strong oxidizing agents, and a wide range of organic solvents. It is non‑corrosive, does not leach contaminants, and withstands temperatures from –200°C to 260°C, meeting the requirements for both high‑ and low‑temperature storage.
• Manufacturing process: Cold‑press sintering or roll‑coating is employed, ensuring a tight bond between the lining and the steel shell with no seams and no leakage. The inner wall is smooth and resistant to scale buildup, facilitating easy cleaning. Available in capacities ranging from 1 to 200 m³, with options for custom dimensions, shapes, and connections; flanged connections are supported.
• The product is non‑toxic and clean, meeting food‑grade and pharmaceutical‑grade standards. It is suitable for industries such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, and lithium‑ion batteries, addressing the longstanding issues of corrosion and leakage in conventional storage tanks.
