Close-fit process piping
Introduction
- Product Description
-
• Core process: The outer diameter of the PTFE tube is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the steel pipe, and it is forcibly inserted via mechanical traction or push‑in, followed by flanging to ensure a gapless, tight fit.
• Key parameters: temperature resistance ≤150°C; suitable only for positive-pressure service (negative pressure is strictly prohibited); typical single‑section length ≤4 m.
• Typical advantages: high production efficiency, cost‑effective, and well suited for mass‑produced, standard acid–alkali delivery systems.
• Application scenarios: Industries such as chemical processing, water treatment, and environmental protection; suitable for conveying dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, and other mild acidic or alkaline media under stable operating conditions with no negative pressure requirements.
• Limitations: It is prone to collapse or delamination under rapid temperature changes or negative pressure, and is not suitable for high-temperature conditions with severe fluctuations.
• Suitable for conveying corrosive media under mild, stable operating conditions with no negative pressure: dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, alkaline solutions, wastewater treatment, pickling lines, chemical circulating water, neutralizing solutions, dyes, pesticides, and pipelines in the electroplating industry.
Our company offers custom-designed, non‑standard steel‑lined PTFE pipe fittings, manufactured to order based on customer‑specific parameters and application requirements.
