Roll-coated PTFE tank

Rotary‑coating (rotary lining) equipment is a type of corrosion‑resistant vessel that uses carbon steel or stainless steel as the base material and employs a rotary rotational molding process to thermally bond fluoroplastics (such as ETFE, F40, PFA, FEP, etc.) to the inner surface.

Introduction

  • Product Description
  • Rotary‑coating PTFE (rotary lining) equipment is a type of corrosion‑resistant vessel that uses carbon steel or stainless steel as the base material and employs a rotary molding process to thermally bond fluoroplastics—such as ETFE, F40, PFA, and FEP—to the inner surface. Its key advantages include seamless construction, resistance to negative pressure, excellent impermeability, and high temperature tolerance, making it widely suited for highly corrosive chemical processing applications.

Split-type storage tanks, horizontal storage tanks, reaction vessels, mixing tanks, transport tanks, and others.

    1. Process and Structure

    • The tank body is heated while rotating, and the fluoroplastic powder is applied via full‑wrap roll coating, resulting in a seamless, weld‑free construction with no overlaps.

    • Fully sealed and corrosion‑protected for the head, nozzle, manhole, and flange face

    2. Specifications

    • Volume: 0.5 m³ to 100 m³+

    • Material: Carbon steel Q235-B, stainless steel 304/316

    • Lining: ETFE (2–5 mm), PFA (high-temperature)

    3. Performance

    • Temperature: ETFE –60°C to 180°C; PFA can withstand up to 260°C

    • Pressure: Positive pressure / Vacuum (-0.098 MPa)

    • Impermeability: Extremely low permeability, preventing the passage of small-molecule gases.

    • Cleanliness: Smooth surface, no precipitation, compliant with pharmaceutical and electronic high-purity requirements.

    4. Classification and Applications

    • Vertical storage tanks: chemical storage, neutralization tanks, wastewater tanks

    • Horizontal / Transport Tanks: Tank cars, ship transport of corrosive media

    • Reaction/Stirred Tank: Jacketed for heating, with a fluoropolymer-lined agitator, used for reactions, mixing, and extraction.

    • Vacuum vessel: negative-pressure operation, crystallization, drying

    5. Advantages

    • More resistant to negative pressure, more impermeable, and longer-lasting than tight liners or board liners.

    • Lower cost, higher strength, and safer and more reliable than all‑PTFE tanks

The company specializes in the custom design and manufacture of non-standard roller‑coating PTFE equipment, leveraging a proven roller‑coating process with rigorous quality control at every stage. Our products deliver seamless, dense, corrosion‑resistant, and wear‑resistant performance, precisely tailored to meet customers’ operating conditions and dimensional requirements, ensuring reliable and long‑lasting equipment.
