Rubber-lined pipe

Rubber-lined pipe is a composite corrosion‑ and wear‑resistant pipeline specifically engineered for severe abrasive and corrosive service conditions. It features a high‑quality carbon steel or stainless steel outer shell that ensures robust mechanical strength and pressure resistance, while the inner lining is applied via a specialized hot‑vulcanization process using corrosion‑ and wear‑resistant rubber, delivering the key advantage of a “rigid‑flexible” design.

Introduction

  • Product Description
  • Rubber-lined piping is a composite corrosion‑ and wear‑resistant pipeline specifically engineered for severe abrasive and corrosive service conditions.

Manufacturing process: Utilizing high-temperature thermal vulcanization bonding technology, the rubber is tightly bonded to the inner wall of the steel pipe. Following rigorous procedures—including grinding, adhesive application, vulcanization, and inspection—the process ensures a bubble-free, delamination-free rubber layer with high bond strength, minimizing the risk of peeling or blistering. The lining thickness is uniform and can be customized to 2–10 mm based on operating conditions.

The product boasts outstanding core characteristics, combining excellent wear resistance, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, and superior impact resistance. Its smooth inner surface prevents scale buildup, resulting in low fluid friction and effectively reducing pumping energy consumption. Additionally, it delivers effective vibration damping and noise reduction, making it well-suited for compensating pipe displacement under complex operating conditions.

With a wide range of applications, it is primarily used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, coal, power generation, chemical processing, dredging, and wastewater treatment. It is especially suited for conveying highly abrasive and corrosive media, including mineral slurries, muds, ash residues, sand and gravel, and acidic or alkaline wastewater. Custom‑made straight pipes, bends, tees, and other pipe fittings are available to meet diverse installation and transport requirements, significantly extending pipeline service life and reducing maintenance costs.

Our factory employs a hot‑vulcanization process to manufacture rubber‑lined pipelines, ensuring strong adhesion, excellent wear resistance, and superior impact resistance. Custom designs are available to meet non‑standard requirements, making these pipelines ideal for high‑abrasion media transport systems in mining, metallurgy, and other industries.
